Client Profile: Franklin County Industrial Development Corporation

Created in 1971, the Franklin County Industrial Development Corporation (FCIDC) is a private, non-profit development corporation sponsored by the State of Vermont and Franklin County businesses and municipalities. The mission of FCIDC is to create an environment which is suitable for job creation and capital investment.  Together, these factors make Franklin County, Vermont a winning prospect for Canadian expansion in the United States.  Canadian companies focused solely in Canada dramatically limit the size of their market.  Canadian business leaders are casting their eyes around the globe searching for growth opportunities. Franklin County, Vermont has steadily established itself as a major hub for Canadian companies eager to capitalize on the U.S market as part of their overall corporate strategy.
